Since we swam our first sanctioned meet at this Saturday's Pentathlon, the time has come to talk about All-Star times!
For swimmers who don't know, All-Star times are determined by the North Georgia Swim League as the top 20% of times for swimmers' age and gender groups.
To All-Star in an event is an incredible accomplishment. This means you are in the top 20% of swimmers you will compete against during the summer.
Swimmers who achieve these times receive a special red, white and blue ribbon which lists the swimmer's qualifying All-Star time and the meet where they first achieved the time during the season.
At our Pentathlon, we had 14 swimmers who swam All-Star times.
