You guys had an amazing weekend, yet again!
A special congratulations goes out to Megan Lance for achieving her State Qualifying 400 freestyle time on Friday evening at the CAD Urban Invitational.
Other notable achievements from this weekend include the four All-Star swims by Clara Moody (fly), Taylor Erickson (fly), Lewis Stringfellow (back), and Cameron Edwards (free). These were Clara and Taylor's first All-Star swims of the season, Lewis' second All-Star swim of the season, and Cameron's first All-Star swim ever!
We had several swimmers who dropped a considerable amount of time. Some of the most notable time drops were accomplished by Matthew Mooney (-6 seconds in a 25 free), Merrideth Wood and Emma Barley (who each dropped 7 seconds in the same heat of a 25 breaststroke), and Dillan Edling (-11 seconds on a 25 free).
We are so proud of you, Barracudas! You are making so much progress so quickly this summer, it may turn out to be our most successful summer yet. Keep up the good work.
