Swimmers did a fantastic job at our Swim-a-Thon last Friday! A great number of you swam much more than you thought you could, and many of you swam a mile or more.
As Matthew Skutar-Guzner said to us afterwards, "I thought I could only swim 5, but then I swam 18 laps! I surprised myself!"
Great job! I'd give you the statistical rundown of how many laps our Barracudas swam, but I'd hate to ruin the surprise at the banquet this year. You'll just have to wait and see.
Money for Swim-a-Thon will be due next Wednesday, July 11th. Remember, this money will be spent to benefit your swimmers by purchasing better equipment, awards, and fun days. Please donate however much you see fit. Each family's goal should be to provide $25, but we will take whatever we can get! Every dollar helps. Thank you in advance for your donations.
This is our last week of practice before District. We're expecting to see a lot of time drops and state qualifiers this Saturday! Keep up the good work ethic you've been practicing all summer and we are going to see a lot of personal bests.
