Go BARRACUDAS! We hope you had fun at our first dual meet of the season! We were very impressed with the level of competition and good technical swimming we saw last night for this being so early in the season. It's a good sign for the Pentathlon this weekend!
I hope your swimmers were just as impressed with themselves as we were, especially regarding our newer Barracuda swimmers. We love going to dual meets at the beginning of the season so our swimmers can see how much they are progressing during practice.
We know after many days of practice how tiring it can get to hear all the things they need to be doing better, and we know how rewarding it feels to be told that they raced well. It's nice for the coaches also to be able to provide that one-on-one feedback with the swimmers directly following their races. There's no better time to assess how well a swimmer has absorbed the lessons from practice than during a meet.
Ribbons are on their way and will be passed out at practice this next week.
